B4's and their Specs ? Help me ? Maybe Buying one...

Ok, i Race TC and 1/8th Rally X at mo and because of a couple of things happening i'm thinking of a 2WD 10th...

I'd go to this, because it's what i Raced when i was 16-18 before leaving RC for over 10 Years.

Now back then i Raced a couple of different Manufacturers, but Not AE.

I see the FT is the Top Spec version, but have also just noticed a comment on one site, saying now comes with Plastic Chassis etc... Guessing Flexiblity etc.

Also noticed Stealth etc. Now if i Did go and join the 2WD Racing Scene again, i'd have to do it on a Real Budget, but i am a Realistic man and Won't Buy Crap.

Can you guys help me with what to go for as regards to a B4 and what to look for 2nd hand with them if i went that route...

Also, how long they been out ? Not anychance of a New Version coming out soon is there ?

I will also say, i'm drawn AE, because i'm Definately getting a SC10 when they are released, so it would be Nice to have a B4.

In the long run it's very much worth getting the ft spec as it will cost alot more to upgrade a few of the essential bits you need from the ft if you got a stealth if want a more reliable and better tuned car.

2nd hand you should look for a relatively good condition ft b4 or b4 for around £70-110 with titanium turnbuckles, threaded shocks, front alloy hinge pin brance etc as these are must have's! If it's 2nd hand make sure you the car has good condition transmission (gearbox internals etc) as these are expensive parts to replace if they are worn out.

Nothing new coming out, the B4 is going to be around for some time yet I think so don't worry!

The ft version does come with plastic chassis now as the car is easier to drive with it and over all just feels better.

B5 rumours flying around... i overheard someone talking a couple of weeks back.. (no idea if its true though :P)

You could also look for an Xfactory X-6... more expensive but now the squared is out you may be able to get a cheapish one..?
