WOW!

TQ and win on Saturday, 2nd. & 3rd on Sunday! That's half of the podium & TQ slots. Not too shabby for the world's smallest R/C Car company.

Three different drivers in that mix. Ellis, Phil, and Tom, in order of appearance. Great job to all three.

Mardave, probably. A one-man operation, AFAIK.

It may be now but i don't think it always has been, i may be wrong. Mardave are also a very well established company with over 20 years in the market.

This is Chazz, writing on Paul's computer from Nashville. The comment about company size was meant to emphasize how very well the entire Team did at Taly than a claim as to actual size. I hope the focus of this thread stays on the great performance of the entire X Team. Fabulous! Much credit to our great drivers! I know Phil and Tom are absolutely pumped about their best finishes ever and Ellis is, shal we say, "unhappy" with his buggy finish.

It's a tribute to Ellis that he was able to come back to the track at all on Sunday, and then, after a disappointing grid position, fight his way through to the podium. A true measure of character. We are all so proud of you, Ellis!

And, of course, absolutely over the moon with Phil's first-ever win. We had much faith in Phil last fall. Had the opportunity to add more than one of several top drivers to the Team, and selected only Phil. He has proven that a great decision! Congratulations Phil!!!

One of the real pleasures of my position is that I get to watch young talent develop. Sixteen months ago we were not looking for more drivers and the chance to land Tom Cockerill came up. U.K. Captain Ellis said, "He will be a great one," and we are so happy to see Tom growing and getting faster every day. Congratulations Tom!!!

Poor Ellis, the "old man," will have to work hard this year just to beat the rest of the Team! I'm sure he is smiling. Ellis, your help has been crucial! Thank you.

Still Chazz. Again, wanted to keep the focus on the great results from Taly. When you think about it, Phil and Tom doing so well, combined with Ellis' TQ and 4WD podium make this our very best ever Team result.

X Factory is slightly more than 5 years old now, and is indeed a one man company. Paul has just graduated from Vanderbilt Univ with his Masters degree in mechanical engineering (That's why I'm in Nashville.) and will join me on June first, when X Factory will become a two man company.

Not certain where that puts us in the overall size race, but we certainly are in a David vs. Goliath position against most of our competitors.

Well it was an excellent start for the team for the 09 season, and this definitely makes Xfactory the most successful one man company

Hopefully E will carry on at Oz where he left off last year :)

Chazz here again.

Millzy, if I had TQed the event, if at one point I had been SIX seconds clear in the lead, and then would have crashed out of every A final, I think I would have been too hung over to race the next day, and probably would have simply left for home.

Again, Ellis' performance in the finals on Sunday are a great testament to his grit and character. We are sooo proud of The Big E.
