PS3 to TV via wireless connection

can it be done and what should I be looking for to do it?

have an 42" plasma with the following sockets on the back

currently using cables to tv for ps3

HDMI is available wireless, but it's too expensive yet. what's wrong with cables ? :)

PS3's in son's bedroom and now and then he likes to use the big screen with a few pals.
