hiya,

Ive been intrested in a X-6 for a while now but dont really know where to start , obviously i need a b4 and the x-6 kit but what else do i need that are upgrades you would class as 'essential'

I will be running mainly on astroturf if that helps , and i know about what electrics etc that i would need

any advice would be great :) and also rough ideas on prices

thankyou ! :)

you definately need the aftermarket axles.

the kit ones are ridiculously too short!

so you will need to add the extra $19 or so on top of the conversion!

I also recommend the ESpeed extenders and mootor mount brace.

Not totally essential but losi shocks are a nice thing to have, all the team that i know of use them instead of the associated ones so setting the car up is easier if you have them... Shame they're rare as moon cheese and mega bucks if you do find any

All Kits shipped in the last month have the new standard set-up sheets in them, which gives the setting for all three brands of shocks -- AE, Losi, and Kyosho. So you can use any brand you want, and it is not necessary to use Losi just because many Team drivers choose them. Most of them do that from convenience -- they already have a box full of them.

The standard set-up will give you an excellent start for astro.
