sorry but it was other people as well and sorry for this but the xxx4 is ten times better than a madrat mate end of back to the madrat i would buy a better motor than a 9turn is the same as a 10 turn brushed. as its a 380 can size mate get the 6.5 or 5.5turn or 8.5 turn as the 9 turn is slow. i did have 2 of them and i have sold the motors as its a very small motor and nothink like a 9 turn 540can . ezrun 8.5turn combo with a esc that 60amps and the 9turn combo is 35amps go for the bigger size can as you will be dissapointed with the out put power and you cannot use them for racing at all as it sensorless

He has now asked me about 5 times how to mesh the gears and his tone indicates it's my fault or that the buggy is no good because he can't work out the losi motor cam plate and clamp system which I think is a great and easy design......if it takes him more than 5 minutes to work it out then I have lost my faith in mankind!

I just explained it and told him to check the online manual, not sure what else I can do??

I like to help as much as I can especially if someone buys something from me but I can't see the issue here.

This hobby favours the technically minded. If you struggle to work it out even with the manual, are you sure this is the hobby for you?.

I mean this in all seriousness, not as a dig or as a putdown. If you can't mesh the gear in your own home with lots of time then its going to be near impossible for you to do it trackside with limited time. Could you swap a wishbone or rebuild a CVD intime for the next race? Its no fun if you pay for a days racing only to miss most of it trying to get the car going.

Racing isn't for erveryone, maybe its time to look a the bigger picture and ask yourself if you were happier just bashing?

Stampy, in my experience either you are using motor screws which are too long, have meshed the teeth waaaaay too tight or you have an issue with your motor, I hope you're using 48DP pinions?? That was an assumption?? Also, you aren't sitting on the buggy when driving it are you? :p

That XXX4 had an extremely smooth drivetrain last week and I put new bearings in it prior to sending to you - also check the pinion is far enough onto the motor shaft as not to rub the drivebelt....other than that I can't think why you are getting heat problems with your motor? It is a 540 sized brushless you're using right? Wired up correcty?

Yes, i suppose RCR is a bit more Basher style, purely because we like to think we're a Fun Forum, but...

There are quite a few members who do Race and at a decent level.

We pride ourselves in being able to cater for all and News etc is very up to date and a lot of Race Chat does happen on there.

So don't try sending us cast offs...

They'll be straight back at ya !!!! ;)

I seriously can't belive how low this situation is, people mocking some one for getting off benefits and finding a job, wether its the worst job in the world, the best or what not does it matter?

Im not taking sides for no one here, but more people than just stampede need to seriously re think what there writing before hitting the post button! As annoying as things can be, taking cheap shots at some ones living and finiancial situation is way below the belt!
