I have recently been playing with a BSD Racing "Land Ripper" which is fitted with a fantastic eZrun 2250 brushless and twin 7.4v lipos.
It goes really well but feels like the centre diff oil is really thin, what would be typical diff oils for an EP Rallycross?
Also is there any benifit from using one of these slipper things on the centre diff?
Please feel free to treat me as a rallycross virgin :woot:

I run 5k 7k 2/3k normally. If bashing, many simply lock the centre (effectively) with something like 20k.
The Slipperential is a worthwhile tool, but I'd only bother if racing.

Cheers guys!
Marvin, have read your little write up and that gives me a bit of insight into motors/lipos etc, Ta.
Mine will be staying with the current setup electrics wise and will be mainly used for racing locally, what is this b-a-shing 'JOKE' isn't this what you do to other cars whilst racing LOL
I am a 10th and 18th off roader so the feeling of the center diff is really weird! I was thinking of going quite heavy on the centre oil, maybe 10k and putting a slipper on to protect the motor (especially as you say the Hobbywing is not great quality) and also to give the transmission a bit easier time, as I tend not to hold back on the horses
There appears to be a slipper available from BSD Racing, though it is difficult to understand the Chenglish on their site.
CFR: Ta for the link, will try and get my head around that when I get home from work :)
