Hi all,
Had a weird problem with my 2.4ghz receiver not syncing with my tranny and picking up another transmitter.
Never happened before, the red light started flashing red, then flashing green then went mental. I can make it sync manually, but have to press the sync button before it recognises the transmitter.
Any idea's or heard of it before? was fine last time out and hasn't got wet/been dropped or anything...

Have you tried it since when there's no other Futaba 2.4GHz Txs around?
Try calling Ripmax, they are helpful, there was a known problem where Futaba Rxs would listen to the wrong transimtter, but I'm not sure if this only affected the aircraft controllers.

Have experianced this at meetings i have attended .Twice the same person has ended up operating another drivers car,he was using a module and receiver sourced from outside the UK .This problem is unique to Futaba as they have allowed units to be cloned but for different markets.

Seems ok when no other trannys around..
Happened again last night in the finals at Bicester... not a happy bunny.
Will give ripmax a call and see if they can help.

Do that - Futaba did have some problems with their aircraft gear some time back where the Tx key was not unique, and you could bind to other radios. IIRC there was a recall, but that might be wrong as I've been round the bowl a few times since then!
Be patient and polite - it isn't something they would want to jump at admitting!! Good luck!
