Well done Pidge for winning the championship. Was upset that I couldn't make it in the end due to needing a new 12volt battery for my big car :( and this wasn't diganosed until 7pm saturday night :( Hopefully everyone had a good day up there.

Well done and major thanks to all the Southport guys for the weekend - class meeting and awesome track... I love Southport, but GOD that back section is a bitch!

Also MAJOR thanks to everyone who helped me out after my little car key "incident"... I don't think I'll be doing that again! But BIG thank you to everyone who helped by trying to break into the car and especially Nathan, Stan, Yardy, Carl Latham, Millzy, Southwell, Paul, Bathy and Tom for lending me things and helping out when Dad had to drive up to Penrith (in Carl's car!).

Definitely an eventful National...!

Not Mosquito's, but got bitten by the flying ants by marshall point 7. Got stuck there all day Saturday and during the finals on Sunday. Nasty git had a massive nest under the big conrete bot dot.

I got eaten alive by SOMETHING... I was marshalling at 8 and 9 all weekend... my legs are SO DAMN ITCHY!

Only did Saturday, couldn't get to grips with the track, grip being the problem, either not enough of it or too much!

First two rounds I was out just after it had been raining and back end was all over the place then last two rounds car was grip rolling everywhere so was down in the L final. Finally got the car sorted for the final and had a decent run.

I came down saturday afternoon to race 4wd, I was at least 10th in both classes, i got a call last wednesday saying i was in for 4wd but 3rd for 2wd, it didnt look like i would get in on sat but it turns out i would have. :rolleyes:

just as impresive was the whip round of equipment that was raised so emz could still race on the sunday. i did hear a big list of names who lent stuff including mr Ward who was seen to be building cells to help sort her out :O it shows how nice the 1/10th comunity are ;)loved the whole weekend at Southport,

Had a super fun weekend of racing, thanks to all involved, I didn’t quite manage the bottom final both days but it was very close!

Well done Lee yah 'champ', J7 stickers help a bit and bring a little 'luck' ;)
