We have a 4mm carbon fibre one available for the front (and one for the rear) in our DMS Partz range which is a lot stronger than the kit originals

Carbon shock towers are a bit pointless tbh because you just break the tower brace instead which costs vertualy double the price of replacing a standard tower.

If you are going to run carbon towers there are some things you can do to improve the strength of the other parts associated with it to make a near bullet proof car.

We provide this info in the pack with Desire Pincer & Stinger towers for both RB5 and ZX5.

The original plastic towers were quite weak, the latest ones are an improvement but still a little prone in a big shunt.

Totally agree with Matt.. standard towers are fine... when ive broken one its because i crashed, simple as...

In most instances, i've only noticed this after ive finished my race.. if i do have an " off " i will check the towers.. they crack across the screws.. you have a cracked tower but youve completed your heat..

Adding a carbon tower, will basically move the break to somewhere else, which will be the shock tower mount and the gearbox top.

Fronts are the most susceptible to breaking.. rears i have done but rare...

Watch this space regarding rear towers... i have something in the pipeline to help the rear end...new rear tower incorporating new camber link positions.. which will enable us to lower the inboard rear link by quite abit ;)

As soon as have more info i will post some pics.. or Mr AC might!
