Well the basic version is:

The track is being taken down. When its taken down it will be moved to a new location, only about 30 metres away and still in Goshen Park.
We were told work would start at the end of 2010, and that we needed to vacate the premises.

Nothing has happened since.

We are now looking at the start of the outdoors season and absolutely no progress has been made. We won't get the new track till the old one comes down (parts of it are being reused) so thats not an option.

Since they haven't removed the old track, the current plan is to run there until they turn up with the bulldozers.

Only problem is that due to the fact we've been 'about to move' for a couple of years now track maintenance has been limited. This resulted in some major potholes at the back of last season. Johnny has a cunning plan to patch these up quick and cheap, then we can race till we get kicked off.

Since they haven't even started yet, that won't be for some time (hence the another year comments)

As for the 'staying in the hall' bit. The above explains that there would be a period of transition where the old track was removed and the new track not yet built. Hopefully only a few weeks though. Since that time was supposed to be at the start of this years outdoor season, we might have stayed indoors longer. However, its not going to be until much later. We have discussed the option of simply marking out a track on a section of the field in the meantime should this be during the summer.

Basically we will be racing, and it will be at Goshen. Whereabouts and what the track is like we'll sort out as and when.....

yeah i reckon were on for another summer at goshen
i hope
we all no what councils are like so we could be ok for another season or ten
loads of people turn up nowadays indoor and out so its good job we can race on grass if needed - cos the gay speedway boys would be pretty angry if thety turned up and found 20 rc buggys and a few trucks drift racing on the oval
reckon another work party or two when the weathers better like si says a few track fixs are being discussed to kinda de rut it a bit but it will still be that off road track we all love
reckon matt can drive bertha up and down straight to flatten her out like last year
paint a few bits
cement and all that
race on
and any way reckon me and buds are due an outdoor showdown i reckon and its gotta be goshen and my other track is keighly and buds dont love it on grass. ...
so yes matt grass track goshen sounds mint. and we can park on there track for once

johnny i think you should buy a 2wd 500bhp cosworth before we go out doors then you could do some real doughnuts on the football pitch whilst theyre playing football,i dont think your van scared them enough last year as they carried on parking in front of the track entrance!!!

Since I'm looking likely to have a Bmax very thinly disguised as a truck for the outdoor season you are on. I've worked out the bumper mountings based off the SC10, think I can mod some SC10 nerfs and fit either the Ansmann or Maverick SC shell. But leave it normal height and running yellow minispikes.
Do the people you beat in trucks know you were cheating and running 3 cell?

B44 will stomp on your B-max as it will not be going anywhere because you will loose your signal at the end of the straight, lol

Not with my DX3S. Cant wait for outdoors.

That depends on whether you put rechargeables in or not. It doesn't like them!

But now you've made this challenge to the B44's I'll have to look over your Yoke and make sure its set right. Can't go having them non-bmax's winning.

Hmmm. Isn't this normally where Dave cuts in? Weird - he's been strangely quiet about Bmax's the last couple of days.....

Didn't challenge the B44, challenged the durango. I could beat B44's with my rat so yeah the b-max should. The Lazers will cause me problems tho.

I only use Duracell in trannys coz i get 18 new ones for less than £5 at work.

The planning Application states that approval was granted on 22 October 2008 and the development must begin before 22 October 2011 otherwise they will have to re-apply. The current scheduled start date is April 2011 but this may well slip a bit.
