Longbenton club is moving to a monday night at tyne met college.
Moving this monday 7.30 onward.
Racing i believe from the e-mail Mark sent was 7 to 10 monday nights.
This is a very brave move so well done for those that made the decision as it should open up the club to many more passers by than longbenton got.
What a great opportunity for north east racers.

Yes Longbenton club ( Newcastle rc racers ) are moving to Tyne met College ( North Tyneside College ) just off the Coast road with racing on a monday night from next week. We are moving the gear across tonight from Longbenton. We still need to sort out a few things like rostrum etc.. but hopefully we will have things sorted in the next few weeks.

What size is the Hall?

Looking forward to racing at the new venue after visiting it last night
It's a full size sports hall, It's probably going to be a similar set up to when NERCR used to run at Nissan, so loads of room for a track to incorporate a TC track and some jumps for Buggies, probably with pitting at one end of the hall (you need to bring your own table).

Just bought some new tyres for monday, yellow minipins for now. Been trying to take on others with 17.5 at longbenton (though i never pushed the gearing). Well it is time for the 13.5 in the touring car me thinks.

Everyone welcome, part of the reason for changing venue was to try to attract new/old menbers back so come along and have a look.
Please bear in mind however that as it's a new venue, things may not run as smoothly as usual for a week or two. And don't forget your pit table
