iv just fitted a brushless in my lrp shark and used a thin bit of paper to mesh the gap in the gears theres a small bit of play but it seams quite noisy is this normal or is there a better way to check gap?? cheers paul.
The shark's motor plate has different inserts for different size pinions, if its the right hole for the pinion you have then it should be OK :)

might be meshing a bit, just loosen it a fraction and see if that sounds better, if not keep playing, tighter and looser until your happy

If you're not using the motor setting plates though, make sure to use washers. I've got to try and mesh mine later on the motor setting plates don't mesh with the size pinions I'm gonna be using (9 and 10).
