That last sentence is a little confusing...
Does it mean subscriptions open on 16 sept at 8PM?
(Ouverture des inscriptions à 20:00 le 16sept?)
Looking forward to my favourite rc outing of the year!

I know it's difficult and I really don't want to annoy you. So let me translate what you wrote twice now:

I hope you mean:

Eric,
John (like all contenters from the 2010 edition I guess?) got a reminder mail from JP 2 days ago, and there the starting time mentioned for the inscription is 21h (9pm) instead of 20h....just wait another half an hour :)
mr. ed
16-09-2011, 06:31 PM
 I got that same mail: never noticed the hour change.
(I contended in 2011 and 2010 also)
ok, half an hour to put the little girl in bath and bed

Bonjour,
Répondu en MP mais en Anglais lol
Tout est libre, juste l'échelle 1/10 :)
All is free, just the scale 1/10
JP
too bad :-(
so I can show up with a 4x4 SC powered with <5.5T motor and basically run circles around any 2x4 SC :(
flipside
27-09-2011, 05:30 PM
Yes you can, but I doubt you will be able to do that with <5.5 on the brcc track :)
sure, but you can understand why I'm bringing this up... if 2x4 4x4 doesn't matter, why have 2WD and 4WD category for the buggies... ;)
Why not buy a 4 x 4 SC-truck then??
Its the future.
In Belgium SC isnt big enough for 2 klasses.
we can get close to 10 2WD on a truck in no-man's land (Bauffe ;)) so I'm not so sure you're right.
flipside
28-09-2011, 07:32 AM
These 10 sc places would be filled in seconds if they were added to the 2wd or 4wd list. So I think you can only be happy that the organisation gives sc, truck and 1/8 a chance to participate, even if it is only with 10 places each.
?
don't know what you're referring to.
flipside
28-09-2011, 11:35 AM
I meant that these 10 places would be gone in seconds if added to the 2wd buggy or 4wd buggy classes.
So be happy that they decide to run a (small) sc class, instead of just doing 2wd buggy and 4wd buggy only.
depends; if you have to buy a €400 4WD SC kit to be able to compete in the SC category because no rules were set to restrict it... it's a bit of a gift with a trick up its sleeve ;)
anyway...
flipside
28-09-2011, 01:20 PM
Yes, but that depends on what you expect from a raceday :-) (you are able to compete with a sc 2wd too, I raced many times with my 2wd buggy in the 4wd buggy class). SC is clearly not the main class here, so I don't see if you want to drive with your 2wd SC, why you can't have fun. If you go for results, compare yourself to other 2WD SC's or try to beat the 4wd's and get satisfaction from that.
Your original question was why it is not split into 2 categories. I think this is just a timing issue. It's clear that this is mainly a buggy race, so I guess they will not lower the amount of buggy entries in favor of an extra SC heat.
Guess you will just have to live with that :-)

28-09-2011, 01:57 PM
stop meaning and get yourself a real car than .
sc sucs and in belgium it has almost no life . so be happy and run wat you have . ether way the 2wd cars are almost the same pace on that track as the 4wd , so drive with sence and you be in the top 3 than my god how hard can it be :p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p
V-Rossi
28-09-2011, 02:11 PM
Bart, what if Schumacher releases a SC? Will that class still suck? ;)
235mm nitro had less life in it than a dodo and you still raced it :)
"stop meaning" :D
hallo mede antwerpenaertje; chill dude, please.
Your original question was why it is not split into 2 categories. I think this is just a timing issue. It's clear that this is mainly a buggy race, so I guess they will not lower the amount of buggy entries in favor of an extra SC heat. understood; and definitely fun to see an indoor SC race at <40min from where I now live :)
sc sucs and in belgium it has almost no life .
ok; but there's hope, and hoop does living :p

28-09-2011, 02:19 PM

Hi,
It is true that our winter will be hot :)
We are finalizing this Friday with Uwe Reinhart. There are two problems today.
Find more space for drivers and also for the spectators, but we have solutions.
The discussions have been going on in June That is why we have not put the entries for the Winter Trophy on the webside.
This is a really exciting project. The team of the EOS are really hobbyists, we talk frankly, without hesitating to put the issues on the table. They are true professionals, very structured and I love it.
For BNK, I'm waiting the preparatory meeting to request the first weekend of April.

Waar blijven jullie zoal slapen?

amazing weekend indeed, i wish i had slept more, i had a hard time focussing on my car on sunday...
Tom Cockerill was very impressive, and still winning despite having his best result scrapped is very classy indeed :)

I would like to echo Nathan really and I'm sure I speak for all the uk team when I say thank you and well done. This sort of event is very hard to execute well and you guys did it again. Although disappointing results for me I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meeting so much when not doing well.
It was also good to catch up with some friends from the past couple of years and of course make new ones.
Well done, Tom!
Thanks again,
Matt

Ditto to all the positive things stated here before!
This was my first time at this event, and it was a pleasure meeting all the organisers - you guys and dolls do an excellent job.
Also nice to see again some of the top European drivers in attendance - Boy do some of you drive hard though!
The track was certainly demanding enough for the top drivers to go fast but easy enough for the majority to have an enjoyable time. At one stage it was -12 deg outside but with heating inside it was so much nicer.
Now on to the directions given to us for evening entertainment!!
On the Thursday evening we asked for somewhere nice to get a drink and we were directed to a ‘gay’ club.
On the Saturday night we asked for a nice restaurant to eat and were directed to ‘wife swapping’.
On top of all of that many drivers were certainly getting some special kisses at the presentations party, so I am assuming wife’s and girlfriends
Either I have missed something here or you all party as hard as some of you drive – LOL
Thank you all for your hospitality shown.

Again a very nice event!
Also a big  to Mathieu Carpin, who dominated the 1/8 class with his pink Serpent, and proved that a car with the right amount of power. smooth driving and clean jumping pays off , also in 1/8 class!

A big thank you to all for making us confaince again.
We really had fun. I loved Matt's head on Sunday morning.
Tony, in Belgium, we have a sense of his hospitality and we pay our girls for our friends.
I thought you knew.
Congratulations to the English team, you made very strong this year.
Now it's the EOS with Mike Truhe, Jorn Neumann, Hupo Honigl.
I hope that we can see the best English drivers on this big race.
