Hi just wondering if anybody out there does aluminium wing mounts for the XX4 (trinity etc) seem to be quite vulerable and if you land off a ramp wrong tend to pull out

I've never broken a Losi wingmount in 4 years of running Losi based 4wd cars, what I would say is that you can usually install longer screws (more threads) than is originally suggested in the manuals.

They are not breaking just pulling out, and just thought that there would be a mod available.

like dan says you can run a longer screws without issue ive gone ott with mine and drilled through with a 2.6mm bit so i can nut and bolt it on after a mate showed me his although u do have to use the smaller nuts for the upper screws as 1/4" wont fit in

Just while you are on wonder if you can please advice I went to a club meeting in southport today, car was ok except for the rear wheel lifting on some corners. Have tried to run thicker oil and messed around with harder springs etc. Just wondering how to stop this for batley and worksop or other indoor meeting. At moment 40wt oil allround with green springs on front and red on rear

Thanks mate much appreciated, hopefully can get the car down as its quick and easy to drive usally
Rear roll bar should sort this out, but is it realy a problem?
Plus it looks cool:lol:
