Fake Iphone 4 ??

Do you think its a fake or something? Its bloody cheap and he says to pick it up? no delivery?!??

It says it has no itunes application WTF you can download that from the app store???

If he tries to force you, point out to ebay that he amended the description after you had bid, therefore he was misleading you and advertising falsely. Turn it round on him so that he is the crook.

And if that fails, tell him to do one and make sure you keep your money/bank details firmly in your pocket.

When there are 2 sim holders in it, then it's alway's a Chinese copy, all the cell phones there has dual sim holders because they need to swith easily between Hong Kong network and mainland China.
You can buy this one for only 80$ direct in Hong Kong and it works very good.

Think they come from exactly the same factory as the Apple versions, so are ipods in all but genuine software, but they we're something like £12 each with p&p, so it's worth the risk for something that doesn't cost all that much, but they never claimed to be ipods. It sounds like the seller is either trying it on, or he genuinely bought a fake ipnone 4 not realising, but fake or replica means they can justify charging what he appears to be. At the end of the day, you do pay for the name with these things, that's why you can get replicas of rc cars now for a fraction of what they we're based on are.

Yes indeed, most of the Apple, Samsung, HTC, etc is 70% from thesame factory's, it's really funny when people are fanatic about Apple or HTC and when you visit that company you seen a production of the 2 'brands' on thesame place with only a few meters between them.
I even saw once a factory where they made RC cars (a well know brand) and they made 10 meters further parts for another brand (also a very know one) so China is a small world ;)

you could always check in the settings to see if its original or go into an apple store and they will tell you, or call your service provider and quote them the imei (*#06#) and they should tell you what phone that imei belongs too

i tried one at a boot sale a while back, the touch screen isnt as responsive as the apple but still a good phone, you have 2 signals at the same time for each sim, and when you call it asks you which sim to call from, i'm gunna order 1 for my son,

ok, I've bought two, one white and one black for me and my sister, who have the same phones anyway, the LG GT540 which is a load of crap anyway, so we're only going uphill. The phone itself is slightly smaller than an iPhone, the main round button has a slightly different feel, in fact all the buttons feel different, bit cheap, and on the back, obviously no Apple logo, but it does say

"Designed by Opplo in California Assembled in China" and then relevant numbers. Definitely cheaky and supposed to look like an iPhone, but I guess it is what it is, which is a Chinese copy for the Chinese market. Would like to be able to change the software to the Apple OS or even Android, but I don't know how to.

it is the hardware you're paying for also since you can't run iOS on a non-apple device...

also the A4/5 chips are custom apple chips built to run on these devices. the relationship the apple iOS devices have between hardware and software is what makes them so good because apple have developed both to run perfectly instead of Samsung/HTC/etc building a phone and then Google building the OS.

In a nutshell, 1.5ghz of cpu in the Samsung against 800mhz in the iPhone and there wasn't anything in it in terms of real world tasks.

I am an Apple fanboy so naturally my option will sway their way :wub

It's a Chinese phone! you can tell because it have 2 sim holders and because it's cheap ;)

Well after two weeks of using the fake iphone, I've bitten the bullet and bought an iphone 3g from ebay for £100. The fake one isn't the worst phone I've used, but is really only any good for phone calls, and the dual sim ability has got to be the only feature I find to be any good (one line for personal calls, and one line for the shop is a lot easier than carrying around two phones), but, battery is seriously bad, unless it just takes a few good charges for it to come good.
