Hi,
wondering if any one knows where I can buy one of the Hobbywing 1s speedos in the uk ?

Officially it's RacersinExile (.org.uk) but the site is suspended and we haven't heard when it will open again. Suggest you look it up on a search site and see if you can find one somewhere else. Avoid ANY Chinese or Hong Kong sites as this speedo is plagued by cheap copies, stick to a European source that shows a picture of the genuine item in blue or black.

It's a great speedo, good throttle feel, easy to adjust, high quality, well priced and reliable. It just seems that the UK agency isn't all it could be at the moment. HTH :)

There are some really cheap copies on Ebay of the 2.0 / 2.1 speedo which probably will work but for how long ? No warranty or backup - not worth the risk.
If you send a nice e-mail to Hobbywing explaining the UK situation they may even sell to you direct.
There are a few shops in Hongkong which I would definately trust to sell genuine product. rcmart, rcmushroom for 2, no doubt others will add to the list.

Might be worth waiting for the new V3 which should be out this month . . . hopefully as this will be smaller than the 1s V2/2.1 but again does not help when the UK distributor is out of action.

managed to source one in the UK. Should be arriving tomorrow so now sorted.
