Hi all,
Can anyone with 2008 cells post what they're specs are, trying to work out what to go for!
I have some of the Orion cells and they are:
412secs at 35 amps, 1.4ohms, 1.233 volts.

Not got any yet, but I'm leaning towards the Orions, so good choice

I will be running the LRP Fat Cobras this year.
Fat Cobras, with a name like that why would you not run them?

Can't believe you haven't got any yet G, you're so last minute! ;)
What i cant understand is how the bigger companys charge £60 a pack and people like demon can charge £35 ish. Surely the dearer cells are not twice as good:confused:

My only worry with the Orion is the time is down from 467 secs @35A for their IB's from last year, to 412 now! Not sure I had a minutes spare runtime outdoors last year!

they have just come (back) in stock with LRP so they should be with me soon.
I can't wait, Reto said their ace... another plus is they have the same colour shrink as my paint scheme! :D
I thought they were designed to suit your paint scheme:lol::thumbsup:

I don't pay attention to the specs on the cells. They can be tweaked to look good, and each manufacturer will take the figures at a different point in the cycle so they are not that comparable.
Its all well and good for a "mine is better than your" bit of banter in the pits, but the truth is that they're all going to be pretty much the same and all that matters is that they are matched.
Infact, does that matter? Not when we're equalising before every charge in my opinion.
I have got some SMC ENR-G 4600's, I will state the spec later - I haven't paid any notice to it to be honest. I just know they took frecking ages to equalise last night after I assembled and gave them 3 minutes of charge.
