Where to get my shell painted

Just a quick one

Where is best (in yr opinion) to get my new shell painted up?

Time is tight - i can post tomorrow but really could do with it back by the end of the week (racing on monday the 11th)

May be impossible in the time i have - i realise

The best or the quickest?

I've just had a couple done by Jon Miller on here and they are fantastic! It's a tiger's face (sounds weird but it works) and the detail is excellent. I was at Worksop yesterday.

I'm sure many of the others on here are very good too, see the RC Graphy section, there are lots of pictures from various people, all of whom seem to be well respected.

b4pete 04-01-2010 03:12 PM

Ive got one I bought used done by Kifopaint, absolutely awesome, shame he doesnt have time, if i were you, id buy another and let him do it lol!

Chrislong 04-01-2010 03:17 PM

Get Carl to do it for you fella, he done one quickly for me over Xmas (which im really grateful of, cheers Carl). Just PM him then drop it off, and he'll let you know when done to pick it up!

Keith @ Kifopaint.......

Look through his gallery, and he boasts some top drivers who require professional quality shells.

jamiekerr14 18-01-2010 01:53 PM

+2 on Kieth hes a great lad.. and does brilliant shells-Have one with him right now! cant wait!

Matt-h 18-01-2010 02:17 PM

What are the costs of getting shells pro painted?

I know it depend on artist, shell, colours and detail, but i have no idea at all:confused:.

A rough figure would be good.

Matt

spenner 18-01-2010 02:29 PM

Mostly depends on how many colours etc... but i would say you are looking from £25 upwards.

jamiekerr14 18-01-2010 02:34 PM

Um for my shell-he should be doing it now hopefully get it for the weekend.
see below
1/8TH Xray 808 Low Profile

http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/f...hellDesign.jpg

Paint is £35
logos are £10-For any and as may as you want I think..
postage is £6 recorded insured- For him to send it back..

It depends on the deisgn but most are 35

You can either send him the shell or order it to be sent to him sometimes he can order on in. Hope this helps!

spenner 18-01-2010 07:12 PM

Sorry... for 8th scale shell i would say £35 upwards. I was saying for 10th!!
