f1 and pan chassis

Some of us are wanting to race f1 style chassis or the flat pan chassis in the new year. We would be in the outlaw class. We could possibly have our own heat if there were enough of us.

There are cars on ebay. look for f101,f102,f103,f104,group c,tamiya f1,pan chassis.

There is currently an f1 on oople in the for sale section.
Foam tyres seem to be the order of the day too.
A few of us at the club already have cars so feel free to ask.

Hi guys,

One of the advantages of being on the Committee is that you get the opportunity to influence how we run the club, including what classes we race. At the last Committee meeting of 2009, we set the classes for the next Winter Friday night championship, which starts this Friday.

We will run:

Off-road (2WD and 4WD results will now be separated, but cars will still run in mixed heats)
Mini
Stock Touring
Outlaw.

We will not be able to split out a separate heat for other types of car because we are already regularly running 6 heats on a Friday night, which means that we struggle to get 4 rounds of racing completed in the time available. Therefore you will need to run in the Outlaw class.

Of course, if we had more helpers setting up & packing away.....
