The Gens Ace Lipos are good value too.

are you racing if so maybe the 60amp hobbywing, will let u do so much more
apart from really low turn motors (runs down to a 5.5t but would say if in any 4wd car 7.5t maybe 6.5t in a 2wd car )

Just for reference, if you do look at hobby king I have purchased from them without any issues.

Hobbyking is very good but if you order from USA it can take up to 3 weeks to arrive.
check there UK store for stock first.

So far I have not been disasappointed by the quality of HobbyKing's electronics. I have a sensored 6.5T motor+100A sensored ESC - this set (including program card) cost me less than 100 USD! After customs got involved it was like 120USD, which is still one hell of a deal and quite a few drivers seem to use the set in the Dutch/Belgian offroad scene with success! :)

However, if it's not in stock, don't buy it! I've been waiting for 10 months now on an order that I made for a servo because it's still out of stock! From what I've heard though service is ok if a little slow, so I should be able to get it as store credit.

Hobbyking sucks

I have had a battery melt on me after only 8 charges. Hobbyking will not repair or replace lipos after 30 days from purchase

Problem with Hobbyking

Got a letter back from Trading standards today.
Hobbyking is actually reg as HexTronik ltd. and is reg in Honk Kong.
The domain name Hobbyking.co.UK is owned by Anthony Hand in Sydney Australia. The U.K warehouse is in Ipswich but is actually called Lucky Stuff LTD, owned and ran by Ian Hand. They suspect father and son but are still looking into that.
Anyway because the seller is based outside the U.K you don't have the same rights as you would under the U.K or E.U laws and it may be difficult for the U.K authorities to exercise any influence over the firms conduct.
SO BEWARE:thumbdown::thumbdown:

i bought three lipos and a motor all seem ok and arrived in a week from the uk warehouse . no receipt and the exchange rate goes all screwy and changed the amount i paid a little but still very cheap.

BUT did put me off and would probably steer clear in the future:thumbdown:

Hobbyking value

Bought several Nanotech Lipos Imax B6 ac charger and various other items from hobbyking UK and International warehouse. Good value

Got to say the posters alluding to problems with hobby king are somewhat vague. ( no receipt - you have transaction details when paid through paypal and exchange rates vary outside traders control. The other regarding trading standards without actually saying anything is odd)

You will see Nanotech lipos at club meetings all over so others are also happy to buy from hobbyking. I am
