Observations and questions.

The belt setting guidance provided in the L1 EVO manual is helpful. Do those setting techniques also apply to the K1 and K2?

The belts are wider on the L1 EVO than the original L1. Were the belts on the L1 skipping?

It appears the original L1 metal upper transmission housings are an upgrade now and the center braces are stock. Will a one piece alloy transmission housing eventually be offered at some point (like the CAT 2000)?

Do the U7412 alloy rear hub carriers use two 5x10x4 bearings or a 5x11x4 and 5x10x4? Is there a U7412v2?

Will the alloy version of the gear diff housings use internal bearings like the rear diff housing of the Mi7?

Yes

skipping is ok, just more durability

Would doubt it as you can not assemble the fab and slipper on a one piece set up

alloy carriers use the same as ld, k1 no v2 as of yet as part number is in manual for optional part for ld, k1

Will the alloy version of the gear diff housings use internal bearings like the rear diff housing of the Mi7?
possibly as new part number but the kit and CF ones are too for the thicker washer

Evening!

No doubt something that many of us are thinking.......

Is there going to be an upgrade kit made available for owners of the original L1?

Thank you for the detailed response and link.

To clarify, the upper transmission parts I was referring to include the plastic parts (U7950, U7951) along with the alloy versions (U7342, U7343, U7348, U7349). For comparison, the CAT 2000 plastic (U1499) and alloy (U1867) equivalents were one piece units instead of separate alloy pieces for the left and right.

When checking my spare set of rear alloy hubs,I had to reckognize
that there was a rolling change to 5x11x4 bearings after the last shortage of the hubs..

ah ok i understand

no they will not be one piece, the parts are listed in the manual (page 54) and you need, U7338 - Dirt Covers - CAT L1 (3pcs)

Hi there, is there any updates as to the extra flex chassis, I see MO and JN seem to use it quite a lot. UK driver racing on astro
