I hope to post a fixture list soon.
Club meetings usually run from around 10am, and finish in the region of 4pm.
Larger events obviously start a little earlier and finish later;)

Can anybody just join the race tomorrow? My father and I are not club members and do not want to race a serious championship. So can we just come down and race? Thanks.

samd 08-05-2010 04:18 PM

Hey dont worry Gamerwillz, batley is very relaxed and friendly, not everyone is serious and a few beginners and children race as well.
Come along, you can race as a non member, and as far as i know you can do 3 meetings before you have to join the BRCA (which you will need to join to race anywhere, or use tracks, for insurance purposes)
You will need to book in to the meeting though, you cant just put you car on the track and join a race.
Starts around 10ish:thumbsup:

Yeah we will book in. No probs. I 1/10th eletric 4wd, my son 1/10th electric 2wd. We don't possess toys. Lipo stuff. Although i am pretty rubbish, he is reasonably good ! Although he lacks racing experience. No, I mean it, I am rubbish. I love to race though (and try to keep out of everybody's way). I know I aren't in the same league as some people out there and I respect that, I love it though. But his eyes and fingers are quicker than mine. And so will be yours !
