West Yorkshire fun race venue

Hi all - I am trying to find some where to race on a regular (fun only) basis around West Yorkshire.
I kitted myself out with a nice team associated 2wd kit and managed to get to some great sessions with the Batley buggy club at the MB models raceway. However due to work and the limited running of events by the club i keep missing the opportunity to go.

Ideally i would love to find a permanent venue that runs a pay and play system through the week. I live in wakefield where we have two such venues but these are focused on RC drifting in the main. One of them does have a race way but its far to tight for 1/10th buggies.

If anyone has any ideas or even space where something could be started i would love to hear from you.

not really pay and play but racing at yorcc sounds right up your street.you have an ideal car for the 540 class which is a competitive but fun class.held saturday evenings through term time.theres a few from wakefield area go too.only a shortish drive up A64.

Thanks for that Jez,
I've heard of the York Raceway before, i may try and get over there. I think its nearly an hours drive away though.

+1 for york. I live in doncaster, about an hour's drive but well worth the effort.
again the brushed silver can is a very good class.
