Weighing it up...

Hi All,

With a B6.2, what weight do people tend to run it at? I'm just getting back to some off-road racing from TC, and in TC you get as close to the weight limit as possible, but with 2wd, it seems you want more weight so that you can negotiate the bumps a but better, so...

What weight do you aim for to strike the right balance? From there, what weight bias (front to rear) do you aim for? (this would mainly be for an astro track - medium grip)

Mine is currently weighing in at 1527g with 660g front (44%), and 856g rear (56%).

Thanks for your help.

Chris

With off toad it tends to depend on the track surface. Astro or carpet then electronics weight and brass front pivot, for wet astro/dirt/grass the it tends to be brass c block to give more rear grip.

The other difference is that weights are usually very low down so it helps lower the cofg while keeping a ride height to handle the bumps.

Personally I run the kit under servo/esc weights and it handles really well.
