Discontinued 8ight?

So a friend is trying to buy a TLR 8ight rtr and cannot do so.

Was told by the store he contacted that TLR are (have) discontinued the whole 8ight range of buggies totally.. not just rtr, but the whole 8ight buggy range.. (Nitro/electric/rtr in both variants) everything..

I find this hard to believe....

Looked on Horizon Hobby and many have been discontinued as shown in the screen shot attached, BUT this is the one that is available:-

In stock at horizon Germany. Don’t think Horizon uk exists any longer.

Only 8IGHT-X (Elite) and 8IGHT-XE exist now, all other "8IGHT" vehicles are gone
