Look What I Found In The Attic

http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...a/101_0403.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a3...a/101_0404.jpg With the outdoor season completed and the new indoor season due to begin, I had a rumage round the attic and found these two cars that I am now contemplating on racing indoors again. These were last used some 15+ years ago now so if I do manage to get them up and running it would be intersting how they compare against todays modern buggies. Craig Harris might even remember spraying the EC shell for me:) |
That Cat shell's paintjob has aged well in design & colours, nice that :)
The Yoke's shell looks like a simplified Kevin Moore type design.... Get one of them running again ( hopefully the Yoke ! ) for the Caldicot Winter Vintage Series which im pretty sure Pete will be running again... Ken Reith ran a similar vintage Yoke at the F3's a couple of weeks ago and did damn well with it - OK Ken's a very good driver but it didnt look like a 15 year old buggy at all in performance & handling :) |
omg, i'm sure i remember racing against both of those cars. especially the cat. i know this may sound sad, but please don't run them, clean 'em up and put them on a shelf!! or sell em to me!! lol

May be the yok that beat me by one point to win the welsh league. Gutted.

I say get the Cat running and then beat some people with it! As you can see in my sig i run a Cat98 which is a Cat2000 but the chassis is a different layout. My Cat98 is still very competative at my club (Bury Metro) I just need to become a better driver and i'm sure that i can start winning races with it. So far it is the best car I have owned and it is around 12 years old! :woot:
