Whos racing what?

I'm thinking touring car or mini.
Others?

wes j. 09-08-2012 12:01 PM

Who are you :confused::lol:.

chris brown 09-08-2012 12:17 PM

The man from Del Monte and I say ......................... "yes"

wes j. 09-08-2012 02:06 PM

Most people this winter are going mardave/supastock crazy. Touring and minis are dead .

Dave Dodd 09-08-2012 03:01 PM

i'm running a supastox but there will still be quite a few running tourers as ardent has now gone.
John (smurfster) is trying to get all the tourers to run 13.5 stock for some close racing.. :)

Smurfster 09-08-2012 05:59 PM

Tourers though till the last series then breaking out the off road to get ready for next summer.

jono222 15-08-2012 03:28 PM

sticking with the buggies indoor too me thinks

The Doctor 21-08-2012 08:59 PM

Thinking about dusting off the rally car and running that in Outlaw (or Off-Road if the authorities will let me). Need to make a chassis to take the LiPos first though.

chris brown 22-08-2012 11:41 PM

That sounds good. I liked the rally cars when we did them on rally tyres with proper rally car bodies.

if you want dust off your rally cars and race them please create a basic set of rules (motor, body type & tyres etc) so others can join the fun and i will create a sub series championship to the outlaw class. :)

I will be doing the same with the gt12 (13.5, 21.5 & g2).
means i can keep tabs on who's using what.

a bit like the le mans series, were you have the overall championships and then the sub class championships.

The Doctor 23-08-2012 09:38 PM

Not fussed about a sub-championship personally, but I'm always up for a trophy opportunity so how about the following. Principle is to keep the rules as simple as possible:

Any 190mm/200mm touring / rally car chassis
Any recognised rally saloon car bodyshell
Treaded touring car size rubber tyres (no slicks, no foams, no buggy size wheels) with at least some visible tread remaining
Min 15mm ride height at full droop (basically, if it's on the deck then it ain't a rally car mate!)
Any motor, any battery, no weight limit.

Better check my yok fits these criteria now!

Chris - dust yours off too mate!

Smurfster 23-08-2012 10:18 PM

That's what I call an idea for a championship!!! :)

cunawarit 24-08-2012 02:29 PM

Yay! I got an old Tamiya right here that fits those rules.

But let me guess, everyone will run 5.5t motors and do two hundred bazillion MPH. Right? ;)

Doubt it, well actually John might.

I would have thought the last thing you would want would be massive speed if your car is planning on going sideways at every corner.
