West Berkshire raceway
 
West Berkshire Raceway opening soon .

Coming soon we will have a permernant indoor off road facility located in Thatcham near Newbury

We are in the early stages of putting things together but hope to be open in the next few weeks .

please keep an eye on oople or are facebook page which we will update as the build comes along

We are building a mixed surface track inc carpet and wood and with the help of Lee Martin this will hopfully become a top indoor facilty to race at.

Seriously though best of luck Kev, that will be great for everyone around this area - Look forward to seeing what you all do with it.

Hopefully I can get up and help at times and Lee may even let me use an old Tamiya (as long as it's a proper one, not an old Big Wig or something) :D

The track is going to be a permanent facility, we are looking at race meets on a Wednesday night, and Sunday once a month, may be more, then practice time will probabley be via booking weekdays 12 to late and Saturdays, all times to be worked out but that is the general plan.

Looks brilliant, great news to have a track in this area. I have to drive over an hour at present to find a club night. It will also be perfect to help junior racers into the sport being able to practice on the Saturday.

We are going to run an open practice day so everyone can come try out are new 1/10 buggy race track .
We will be hoping to have timming available on the day so we can all see how we are getting on.
Every one is welcome so please come and give it a go .
As this is going to be are first open day we will be doing entry at half price ADULTS £5.00 & CHILDREN (under 14) £2.50
Membership will be available on the day as an introductory offer of £20.00

Tyre requirements..
 
Would love to come along on Saturday. Are there specific tyre requirements? Will tyres be available on the day? Photos look great, I will look for the video of Lee testing now.

Hi any Tyre will be fine no shop on site yet but will be very soon . I would think you will find dboots nano bytes very good or Schumacher mini pins
