Time for a change

Hi all

I currently run the old Bantam BC6 charger I bought new about a decade ago and has never set a foot wrong, however, with larger packs in my possession in both capacity and cell count, And that the nipper has taken a shine to racing, I need something a bit extra.

So I have my eyes on the Sky RC D400. I can charge shiz at home, then in the field the next day and be able to charge both mine and the nippers cells at the same time.

All for roughly a ton and a half.

Please tell me whats not to like*

sensible constructive criticism, not gossip and hearsay like my mate had one and it packed up after a month, because any device is capable of that. Ta.

Ah, that doesn't look bad either does it! 10 amps is enough for anyone surely. Cheers mush, another one to seriously consider.

Thanks for that. Although I'm looking to buy new, I will bear you in mind and if you still have it when I decide, then it will be a factor.

Looks like a rebadged version of the Sky RC one. They're all at it nowadays aren't they.

I do have a question though

Before I embark on maths equation research, I would like to know if these things can charge at 10 amps per channel. I'm talking about the D100 v2 and it's identical peers.

They all bang on about the wattage but the words try and blind you with science. I don't want 10 amps on one port and only 5 on the next, it defeats the object.

10 amps, both channels. Thanks for the help.

Charge Current - (0.1A-10.0A) x2

I'm guessing that means 20amps in total so 10 per channel. Modelsport are good at answering questions if you want to check

I did see that but when I read the description after you posted the link, but I read something somewhere and started second guessing.

I asked Modelsport, just to make sure, and yes, 10 amps per channel, but that could vary depending on supply voltage. I'm guessing if your 12v hasn't got the cajones to dish it out, it wont be pulling upwards of 10 amps from it.
