B4 RPM bumper

Does anybody use the big RPM front bumper on their B4? My son drives my B4 from time to time and from how good the bumper is on the micro cars (RC18) I imagine it will help save a few wishbones or shock shafts.

I'm not crazy about the look but if it helps keep the car together it can't be a bad thing. It'll also make a nice carry handle :D

Dom's son Callum did/does! I am sure you might be able to get one from his shop (DC Racing).

PM me for details.

I used to,but since I run it on an 1/8th track,I found that the large bumper would catch on several of the jump faces,so I changed to the small one.I do use the large one on my RC10T3,which having a greater ground clearance means, that it doesn't ground so much.

RPM does a longer narrow one which does a good job of saving you some grief and doesn't get you ridiculed at the track so much :)

They also do it in a much sexier black. Part number is 80232 for the black one. I used it for indoor racing and you don't dig in quite as much as with hte original one.

Yes they are,and a darn sight more flexible too.

Quick update: the BIG RPM bumper has now lived on the front of my B4 for a couple of weeks and apart from seeing there (which I am getting used to ) you wouldn't know it's there. It has not caused me any issues being there and has actually save the front arms and shocks on numerous occasions so I think for the minute it's staying on wether I drive it or my son. If anyone is considering one I would recommend it.
