Custom BK2 Battery Strap CAD Drawing
No one offers a woven cf strap for the Losi car, so I just wanted to get a little feedback on this. Im going to have it machined, any ideas? Should I just keep it simple like this? Add some details? Imput appreciated!

Hi Andy,
looks simple and good yes, but to be honest Trinity still sell the Blue Flake batt strap for the XXX and that looks really cool in Blue CF so you will need to be ultra different especially if you were looking to sell it (in my opinion). Had a thought if you want to be really different and thats to ingrave somehow 'Team Losi' into it and fill it in White or other light colour to contrast with the dark CF. I think that would look pretty smart if done right. |

Id really like to get the "TeamLosi" engraved into the strap, it was suggested on rctech also. Having the extra work done on another "axis" raises the price. I'll get a quote just to see though. |
How about you incorporate a AMB transponder (not PT) mount to one side (obviously this can be reversed by flipping the strap)
|
yeah thats an idea. Jonathan from Atomic Carbon did that on the B4 strap he made and it was pretty smart.
how about trying to get both on there (TL logo and Transponder hole)???? now that would be a one off! |
Here is a paper mock up I printed out, so you can get an idea of what the current version looks like on the car. As far as the "TeamLosi" logo, milling like that raises the cost quite a bit :( Thats part of the reason its a flat 3mm piece also.

Have you extended the length of the car by moving the T plate back by Xmm. |
If you had a transponder holder on one side the CR shell will not fit :( so i scrubbed the plans i had for a BK2/CR strap, most people were happy with the kit option, but its always nice to add some extra bling :D
