public

hi guys is track open for non racers? during the day cheers..

Si Coe 18-03-2013 09:59 PM

Its in a public park and the fence is only 4 ft high.

In other words we can't really stop people using it. We'd rather they turned up to meetings, because that is the clubs livelihood and what pays for the track and facilities and in any case racing is much more fun than just hacking about on the track, but at present we can't prevent access.

Just don't damage anything or annoy the neighbours.

Hopefully after a little practice you'll come and race anyway....

Thanks for the info so no nitro at all? i only have nitro.
little lad has worked his way up to a LRP S10 Twister Buggy 1/10.
so his car is suitable and my cars are a no no :/

Si Coe 19-03-2013 08:59 PM

We race electric only. Technically we can't race nitros because the neighbours complain.
We can't stop people with nitros climbing the fence, but if anyone complains about the noise we say they were trespassing.
I know people do run nitros on our track (or just around in Goshen park) but we have to distance ourselves from this for the above reasons.

johnnygibbon 19-03-2013 09:28 PM

So no Nitros then !
Your sons electric car is fine though
Some people run them in races
