Team c and hobao shocks
 

Hi guys new to the 2wd scene I have invested in a team C and I wanted to upgrade the kit shocks, would the hobao h2 shocks fit the team c I have? Any advice welcome and appreciated cheers

You don't say which teamc you have...... But if you have the alloy shocks they're very good. Going to big bores might see some improvement on bumpy tracks. You should be able to find ansmann big bores being sold off relatively cheaply.

Going to big bores you will need to check the spacing away from the shock towers and between springs and turnbuckles.

I would think the dimensions of the hobao shocks are similar to teamc.

Sorry I have the lupuz so I have the basic plastic shocks

I think I saw them a few months ago on ebay Germany for about 15 euro a pair,but I cannot find them anywhere anymore. Any idea where I can get them ?

I've got a similar question to the OP. I've got a friend who's looking at the Lupuz to start buggy racing - but obviously he's looking at upgrading the shocks.

What shocks would you guys recommend? I assume the TC02C shocks fit straight on, but which other ones are there that you would consider using?

Yeah good question if you want to upgrade basic shocks what's the best way to go?

The best it's to chose the TeamC one, like that you can use the same setup as other driver.
And there are very good, quality like the kyosho one.
After on the lupuz or TC02C i prefer the small one, on the Tc02 Evo, depending the track big bore or small bore for Tm2 and T4V2 i prefert the big bore.

I don't undustand why buy more expensive shock when the brand do one very nice quality and price?

The only reason I'm looking to upgrade is the opportunity to be a little more precise on the amount spacers ie with the hobao ones they screw where as the team c ones they have spacers

I ran schumacher big bores with losi springs and spring cups on my old ansmann monkey, which is basically a lupuz now.

Look out for TD big bores, these can all fit on or losi setups too will fit :thumbsup:
