B44 REAR ARMS SWITCH
HAS ANY BODY TRIED TO FIT THE REAR ARMS ON A B44 THE OPOSITE WAY,THEN FIT THE SHOCKS ON THE REAR ON THE MOUNT AND ARMS.I WILL FIT BUT MAKES THE CAR 8MM SHORTER?
|
in making the car shorter it will also move the weight back a little. may well be good on a tight lower grip track.... you could modify the rear hubs quite easily to allow the installation of a spacer in front of them, should be able to get a few mm back that way. my 2wd that uses a good few b44 components on the rear end just used the wishbones as normal, but with a hole drilled in the back for the shock

Il give this ago when i get a minute to do some testing:thumbsup:

To do the same thing a lot of people fit b5m rear arms and hubs to get the same effect, see it all the time on a Facebook group called AE wheelers

I tried to swap wishbones round but my drive shafts kept falling out,was gonna try some longer shafts but maybe I'll just drill wishbones or change to b5 ones
