x-6 losi shock help
 
can anyone tell me if the losi shock should spring back out about quarter of an inch same as the associated b4 shocks do? as mine dont rebound back at all in front.

Proberly not built correctly. Or do they rebound when you fully extend the shafts.

hi, if i push shaft fully in it doesnt rebound out at all i have to pull it out and no it doesnt rebound wen fully extended,u think i could of build them wrong what should i check for? cheers

sounds like it proberly not quiet enough oil.

The way i do it is....

  • Fill the bodies up to the bottom of the thread.
  • Then push the cartridge right the way down the shaft to the shock bottom.
  • Push the shaft into th body slowly until all the way in.
  • Tighten the cartridge up most of the way leaving about a mm gap between the body and the cartridge.
  • Pull the shaft out, in, out, in then tighten fully.
  • Check the shock for good rebound and feel.
  • Replace spring and spring cup and fix on car.

hi done that am now getting about 5mm of rebound does this sound about right?

Only thing i can sugest trying is when you have filled the shocks and you are bleading it is to hold the shock at 45 degree's to help the air out.

Red pistons 30 - 35 front and 25 - 30 rear depending on conditions.
