xceleron firmware issue
 

Hi, new purchase xceleron s 6.5 combo from dms, i want to download new firmware before installing anything, however all instructions followed, software correctly isssued to my laptop, but when on losi xceleron download site trying to obtain firmware, it suggests right click and save as, but i do this and only get to save TARGET as, my pc assumes its just a link or something- so when i click update firmware on losi software i cannot find the download, (i can see the link i have saved on desktop) but it wont appear in the submenu as i think its only a link???? please anyone help me please?:cry: kind regards. harry

Just go to the correct folder and type the first letter in the file name, it will then come up.

Save target as is fine. That will download the firmware, then as explained above just select it in the application. You may have to type *.* into the filename bit of the file dialog box if it is filtering out the file you want by default.
