grease for diff's

Hi,
Does any one know what is the best grease for diff's.

For a ball diff, you use silicone grease (clear) on the main balls (just a smear), and black grease on the thrust assembly (pack it out).

Really there is not much to choose between any of the quality brands. I use Much-More's greases at the moment, but have used Tamiya, Associated and others in the past.

associated or schumacher are 2 of the best. Although they are very different to each other i now prefer the schumacher over the associated as it lasts longer between rebuilds

I agree with that - the AE stuff just seems to evaporate after a couple of meetings.
