cmgreen 15-04-2009 01:35 PM

Warranty

Mr Pack Touched my car the week b4, hence why he won that week :D.

dayxwalker 15-04-2009 05:29 PM

chris68nufc 15-04-2009 06:52 PM

I might be there if my plane doesnt get delayed!!

Waiting for bits to put my BJ4 back together after Pack touched it and all of the bolts fell out!

chrispattinson 16-04-2009 07:06 AM

Pack touched my car last time we raced.
Still waiting on:
new ball joints, new front bulkheads, new motor, new adjustable braking system  , new screw set, new shock internals, new bearing set, new full spikes  ......... and some anti Pack spray to keep him off the car

Adjustable braking system...??? What's that then chris...?

chrispattinson 16-04-2009 01:08 PM

Its mint. Its just a fully adjustable one way unit, so you can have have a range of braking to the front wheels from 100% to 0%. It will come in handy for those 'do I use a one-way or not' moments - I can choose to say have 50% braking for example. And you dont have to take the car to bits to adjust it, so it can be done quickly. I think they were available for the old CAT 2000 cars.

cmgreen 16-04-2009 02:40 PM

Yeah they were available for the Cat 2000. It may help you chris p but a BJ4We will help you even more!

N7ELA 16-04-2009 05:34 PM

Sounds just like a losi one way clicker to me.

Think it will give you horrible understeer...

chris68nufc 16-04-2009 07:08 PM

Like he needs an advantage?? He whoops our ass normally.Wait till hes got A.B.S!!!!

And new tyres!

N7ELA 16-04-2009 07:15 PM

Cheaters tyres and expensive mods just wont cut it on tues.

Ave got the BJ4 all set-up for jarra now, me 8.5 is gonna woop some Tamiya ass.

chrispattinson 17-04-2009 09:00 AM

Unfortunately, it looks like my car won't be ready for Tuesday.

cmgreen 17-04-2009 10:41 AM

Y???

chrispattinson 17-04-2009 12:25 PM

Loads of parts Im waiting for havnt turned up yet. Struggling for tyres to be honest, aswell as bearings. The bearings I had in the car wont go back in, as they fell to bits when I took them out. I'd smashed the outer casing of the bearings holding the front diff in. Might have to consider running the top force or Lazer ZXR.

Neil ........ do you think an 8.5 is quick enough? My new motor is a 5.5, and I'm wondering if Ive made a mistake ordering such a fast motor?

Chris my 8.5 is still too quick... Depends on the cells though. Normal cells then a 5 or 6.5 is fast. new lipo cells though and an 8.5 is stupidly quick...

Does anyone want to volunteer to run race control????

I might be able to race for a change:)
