Pinion grub screw is 1/16". Bit confused about the other one, do you mean ballstud? If so it is 3/16"

sefton 08-02-2007 04:50 PM

sorry I mean ball end.

barnyard 08-02-2007 05:51 PM

pinions can be 0.050 or 1/16th if imperial, if metric generally 1.5mm

never seen a driver for the ball end

sefton 08-02-2007 06:24 PM

yeah..the things that turnbuckles fasten too.

Rob 08-02-2007 08:46 PM

Yes you mean the ball stud, and yes it's 3/16"

Oscar 08-02-2007 11:15 PM

ballstuds 3/16", pinnion 1.5mm (unless you have crazy American pinions which are 0.050" usually).

If you are replacing tools, in my opinion, Hudy is unrivaled in quality, and RW are excellent for the money.;)
