Tuesday 22nd September

Right in have the Bugs and Laptop and I will get a little more familiar with the software over the weekend.
Firstly is there anyone going ? The numbers have been a little lower than usual since the club championship finished.

I'll bring it with me Tim, just trying to find a really good jarrow setup at the minute, got a few things to try;)

dayxwalker 17-09-2009 07:59 PM

Well it looks like theres going to be a pack of shiny X6's against my old battered B4 ! I think I will be struggling this week ! I must get me one of these X6's

chris68nufc 17-09-2009 08:32 PM

Not really Tim.
The B4 is better on slippy floor. Get some decnt tyres on and it will be fine. Ive got my X6 for the outdoor season and Worksop. I found the B4 spot on for indoor Regionals!!

I cant be arsed to faff on with setups etc so not sure if the X6 will suit me!!

I'd agree, the b4 will be better on the slippy stuff, but when you got grip the x6 is so much better to drive;)

dayxwalker 17-09-2009 09:42 PM

Well I have never driven one so I can only go off what it looks like going round the track ! And they appear to look better indoors but it's hard to judge
I cannot compare if I tryied one as I don't use sticks and I am about the only one with a pistol type.

Tim, you need to buy a proper transmitter, not the ready to run type:lol:

dayxwalker 21-09-2009 08:48 PM

The Bugs are charging !

chris68nufc 21-09-2009 08:50 PM

I cant make it Damn it. Too busy with work so my X6 will just have to wait to be unleashed on Jarrow!

chrispattinson 22-09-2009 06:44 AM

hmmm, I was hoping for some 4WD action tonight, instead of racing the support class.......

racdeaf 22-09-2009 06:52 AM

i am taking both my 2wd and 4wd so decide which car to run when i arrive jarrow

chrispattinson 22-09-2009 07:35 AM

Ill do the same Rob.

dayxwalker 22-09-2009 08:38 AM

Well I have both ready so we best make our minds up !
My tyres are just about finished on the 4wd and since there is a question mark over venue/surface. I am not to keep on getting more tyres. Chris S lent me some long spikes but after trying them before I want to avoid them
I have the key for the hall and I am going to hopefully get there for 6:15 as its really hard for me to get up after work

chrispattinson 22-09-2009 09:06 AM

Does anyone else have a key, I was hoping to get in around 5:45
