You will need to use diff balls that are the same size as the ones in your madrat diff

my madrat diff is the smoothest on ANY diff i have used. you don't need to change the balls at all, they will not make the car noisy. changing the spur and pads might give you a slightly more consistant slipper action, and the spur should reduce the noise slightly.

You are only bashing at the end of the day so I really wouldn't waste your money on unnecessary upgrades. better to put your money towards entry fees ata club. You will learn more in a month at a club than you wwill in 1000 posts on here!

stampede vxlboy 23-09-2009 10:55 AM

will the rb5 slipper disc make any diffrents at all or is it just spur and pads the diff is work right and it just very loud when you hit the power and brakes

c0sie 23-09-2009 11:01 AM

Does the "very loud" sound like a squealing, or a barking/chirping noise?

stampede vxlboy 23-09-2009 11:13 AM

yes it does i have put a bearing kit in the car it sound like the noise is come from the spur gear and when you hit the power it gets louder and when it hit the brakes its like a barking noise and loud . i am going to send to a guy on here to sort it out for me

ConceptRacing 23-09-2009 12:46 PM

I will try my best to sort it for you but I cant promise anything, it may be just a case of looking for something that isnt there, all cars make some kind of noise when they are running, it maybe a case of being a tad too paranoid and looking for perfection that will never happen, lets see the car first and then I will give you my judgement, speak to you soon.
