Yoldume 20-11-2009 05:05 PM

Explain ?:)

its called fubard

i think its time to go sensored and buy something of quality

i4n 20-11-2009 05:09 PM

Nah, it's definitely Failed Under Calibration, Known Electrical Defect ;)

Yoldume 20-11-2009 05:14 PM

not gearing then ?

tbh it was mega hot to melt the solder and then a battery wire has shorted on one of the capacitors

what i think did it was i hit a verge of brambles in the wood which may have move the already loose wires causing the short

althought i left the bugger to burn bacuase i was unsure weather it was my lipo or the esc there was alot of smoke

i4n 20-11-2009 05:26 PM

It's some kind catastrophic failure, if the ESC had of gotten too hot it would have thermaled and shut down.

Could of been a short like you say, or one of the FETs let go big style, it might have been bit of water got in there (I had one of the Mamba Micro's go with water - it was spectacular!) or it could have just been it's time to go!

coolcars782 20-11-2009 05:30 PM

What esc was it?
