ESC seems to have packed in
 

I bought an Orion Vortex 1/10 BL ESC100A in june last year, only raced it once and used it about 10 times since, today it was working fine, but then I switched the car on and forward/reverse no longer works.

The fan on the ESC comes on, but none of the lights light up, which indicate to be its bust!

Anyone any ideas? To me, it's practically brand new as its hardly been used, and it's going to be a pain if I have to buy a new one.

I've just completely removed the ESC from the car, and connected the battery, again no lights. Looks like it's fried :bored:

these speedos are very unreliable. I have 1 that ran for 10 mins before developing a sensor fault- not the motor before people suggest that one. When they work they are ok but the quality of parts is poor and the specs are very over rated.

yeh I don't think I'll be getting another one, like I say, raced once, and maybe bashed 3 times.
