xxx spares availability

Hi guys,

Just getting back into off-road recently after a long stint of on-road. Have bought a nearly-new XXX CR which I'm pleased with but spares availability is a bit of an issue. Can you recommend some good sources of XXX spares?

Secondly, the Losi XXX front wheels are the wide versions - where can I get normal width front wheels?

Cheers.

Try www.losipartshouse.com From America
www.dcracing.co.uk (01386-423848)
There are many others too, just a case of knowing where to look;)

Why not look in the general section on here and get in touch with the shops who advertise on here as all of them will stock spares.

No-one runs the narrow wheels anymore think they were discontinued by Losi a couple of years ago. You may be able to find some after market ones, but personally i wouldn't bother myself.

I thought the wide fronts would give the slim Schumacher 2WD tyres a strange stretched profile - no?

Yea everyone runs the slim tyres and wide wheels and just stretches them across they seem to work better.

The only time i run narrow wheels would be with Schumacher Stagger ribs as you do get a poor profile with the wide wheels.

All you do is use a wide wheel and cut the inner bead off.

have tried to run slim rims but probably never will do again,no need to the car is fare better balanced on the wider rims,

no

But IMO when i run wider wheels it feels nicer to drive.
