B44.1 questions.

Hi,

I've got my name down in my local MS for the new B44.1. I'm setting back up from scratch after some time off the track.

I can't find much info on this newer version other than what is in a thread below. What I really want to see is more pics of the body? Some hate it, some think it's OK, but I can't find any really good pics of it to make my mind up. Can somebody point me to some Body pics please? I have a painter lined up, but what a better idea of the shape.

Also, back in the late 80's / early 90's you could buy lots of nice wheels for any race car. But these days it almost seems you are stuck with what comes in the box (feels a bit like that with the body as well? ) Can other after market wheels be bought for the B44 (.1). I used to like the old deep dish 5 spoke :D

Thanks.

there are different bodies and wheels available for the b44, mainly jconcepts spokey wheels and the very sexy j concepts scoopless body.
try the associated website for more pics/info or look on redrc.net
hope this helps?

Now I'm able to see the the Punisher B44.1 body in full, I hate it
I thought I could get myself to like it, but no !

So I've just bought the Jconcepts "Hi Flow"

If anybody wants the brand new Punisher body and wing from the B44.1 kit I've not even got yet, it's yours for £13 inc post.

Rob.

I sent them an email this morning and the best they can give is November !

Um well thats helpfull as we are half way through November

c0sie 15-11-2010 10:49 AM

Well at least that narrows it down to the latter two weeks in November :)

I would imagine that CML, being the sole distributor for AE here in the UK would tell you an exact date if they knew one.

I know that things can get caught up here in UK customs which then adds on time and paperwork, but also know that if they could be more specific they would be.

CML are good like that :)
