Spektrum transmitter kits
I have an old KO Ex-1 (steerwheel) which I have used for a long time. It has been very reliable and provides ample adjustment my me.
I now have 2 cars, and the problem with the KO is that it is analogue and does not feature any model memory which is going to cause me some problems, so I thought about a possible radio upgrade. So far I would like to go to Spektrum since it seems to provide hassle free xtals changes etc etc... and was looking particularly at the Spektrum own brand radio's. They seem much cheaper than the KO equivalent, and comparitive in price to the Spektrum module kits. Has anyone used these Spektrum transmitter kits, and how big are the recievers and how good are the servo's that are included? Kind regards Mark |
I used to have a spektrum dx2, the radio works fine, but feels a little "cheap". I switched to a KO EX-10 which is so much better, and have features like switchable modules, so I can run mini-z's on 27 AM and spektrum on my other cars.
The KO have a nine model memory, the dx2 have 2, and the dx3 have 3. I think the price for the KO with spektrum isnt all that expensive http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info....ducts_id=10380 I'm not saying the spektrum is a bad radio, not at all, but I think the KO is much better. but the servo's are crap :) http://rc-mushroom.com/product_info....ducts_id=11778 |
