Cleaning old adhesive residue from previous electronics

Hi,

Got a carbon fibre chassis for a mr4bx.

There is lots of adhesive residue that I'm having trouble getting off. Some of it has gone quite hard.

Any clean suggestions?

Regards

Blast it with a hairdryer and then just scrape it off.

WD40 can work well but you will need to degrease prior to sticking anything back down :woot:

Isopropyl (or tape head cleaner)

As already mentioned, just soak the residue in lighter fluid for a few mins. It then just rubs off easily.

Then just mount electrics with the red roll of No More Nails. Sticks good and can easily be removed.
