to glue or not to glue that is the question

seeing as i have a LRP shark with no slipper clutch, would not gluing my tires to the rims, act as a slipper, as anyone tried this and does it work?

i suspect your tyres would pull off when cornering. wouldnt work as slipper anyway as you wouldnt be able to guarantee the tyres slipping the same amount, making the car very unstable under acceleration

that's what i fort but if you put the tires on the inner beads of the rim,
it would make the tire surface more rounded and thinner, which means in theory should get the same amount of grip as the car rolls.
i no Richard Isherwood said he found that putting the tires on inner beads, kept them on the rims as well as give him more of a feeling as the car rolls.

as for the slipper...... is there one on the market or do i have to modify one and if so which is best?

Glue the tyres

Also use rear diff as kinda slipper

1/4th turn back from tight on rear and 1/8 turn back from tight on front.

This is what most people are running at a national level of racing with the

sharks.

You can shoe horn the exotek rc18 slipper in but hardly anyone bothers as

the rear diff being slightly lose work very well.
