What Pit Table?

What pit tables do you use and where did you get it from??
I'm after a new one since my 4 seater fold out decided to fold in last sunday:wtf:
Thanks all

Si Chambers has a really good one, and from last Sunday it looks to be the same as Tom Yardy's. It is a folding aluminium one, and has an interlocking metal top that can be folded up. Its bigger and a bit better than my similiar one (more steady), and has more legroom!

I think he might have got it from Argos, but might be worthwhile PM' Yardee

JUST FOUND IT ON ARGOS

Andy homebase do a folding banqute table for £20 (what a lot of people use) or the one Mark mentioned, do a search on ebay for hi-gear tables think they are 130cm wide they are between £25-30 or £50 from Argos.

mines done nearly 6 years of rallycross now & its still solid :)

Yep, I've got that one too. its a popular one. great price too.

i really like the alluminium fold out one, if anyone finds one cheap-ish, I might get one of those.

showtime 24-01-2008 09:07 PM

they do take a bit of a kicking in rallycross as we are pushing down on starterboxes a lot on them & anything less sturdily constructed breaks very quickly

Flush

Or if your feeling flush the 6ft ones that fold in half and 2 people can pit on or 1 greedy bugger like me can put everything spread out on can be had from

Ive got one of the Argos ones now its much easier to get in the car & carry round than the big fold in half ones like I had before!

RLGfx 24-01-2008 11:49 PM

go on.... get one of those folding blue plastic picnic tables with the seats on either side.... just for comedy value!:D:D:D

showtime 25-01-2008 06:29 AM

my mate left one of those blue jobbies in the back of his car for a few weeks between meetings a while back. the vibrations from driving around undid all the nuts and bolts as they weren't nylocked!

it was hilarious when he turned up trackside & threw the table open and had all the legs, seats & linkages all just fall onto the floor :D
took him ages to find enough of the bolts etc to bodge it back together!
he ended up spending a few quid on new bolts & nylocks at Halfords on the way home

we have one of the really big ones like bradders and cragg have but it weights a bloody ton, and its quiet big even when folded

bigred5765 03-02-2008 07:34 AM

well we tested the new table, its a similar size to the big one we have already, but about a 3rd it's weight just as good and probably almost as strong.
worth every penny of the 35quid they cost

xx4-nutter 03-02-2008 02:08 PM

me and my dad use a paste table, cheap, weighs next to nothing, goes up in seconds goes down in seconds, carried in and out in no time and plenty of room !

wouldnt fancy this cliff hanger tho ! lol lol lol lol, brave comes to mind !
