Li-ion lipo?
 

Hi all

I have been asked if I can charge a battery out of a digital camara (vidio)
It is 7.4v 1100mah Li-ion. is that a lipo sort of thing or what? dont want it going BANG as there is a lot of that about at the min.:woot:

Any advice how I should charge would be great.

You can charge this type of cell on a LiPo charger as the charging method is the same for li-ion. You have to be careful though as the camera batteries will have protection circuitry which we do not use in RC as we need to draw out as much current as possible. Try it but make sure you use a very low charge current and get the cell count correct!
